Long Eaton United v Shepshed Dynamo Preview
Tomorrow Shepshed Dynamo enter their 2nd stage of the FA Cup for the first time in 5 years as they visit Grange Park home of Northern Eastern Counties Premier Division side Long Eaton.
First of all apologies to all due to work commitments I have not been able to post the match reports from the Bank Holiday and the MOM but there will be a double whammy after tomorrows game.
After a tough weekend with a defeat against Boldmere St Michaels and a draw away at ***** on Bank Holiday Shepshed enter the magic of the cup again.
Looking at the opposition a tricky and intriguing tie is anticipated Dynamo are 7th in the Midland Football Alliance and Long Eaton United are currently 8th in their respective league and boast a 100% unbeaten record at home.
Their league and one F.A Cup are:
Liversedge Home won 3-1
Limcoln Moorlands Away (FAC) Won 4-2
Athersley Recreation Away lost 4-1
Parkgate Home 2-0 Home
Nostell Miners Welfare Home on 2-1
Both clubs are anticipating a decent attendance tomorrow as Long Eaton has been covered in The Derby Telegraph and as usual the BWA will be travelling in various modes of transport. I f anyone is interested a number of the BWA are meetiong in The Bull Ring Shepshed at 10am tomorrow morning and catching the 10.45 train to Long Eaton.
Looking forward to another good day out and as many of the BWA making Long Eaton a sea of noise tomorrow.
Winners of tomorrows tie will face either Coalville Town or Lincoln United both of the Evo Stik Div 1 away Saturday 14th September.
