Looks like its the UCL for us and Quorndon then, I have been to every ground and although some are very basic the people were always nice & friendly. They may wonder what has hit them when the BWA arrive!!!! Probably going to be easier for the Birstall & Syston supporters with regards to travelling.

It looks like they have missed Blackstones, Boston Town & Cogenhoe off the list making 20 teams.
Not sure which division Bourne Town & Rothwell Corinthians are in.

Whilst eveyone assumed that we would go into the Midland Alliance, I had a feeling either us or Quorn would end up going into the UCL due to the geographic split of the teams who dropped into Step 5 but didn't expect both to do so. It's disappointing to me because it limits severely the amount of games I can go to due to distance, train connections etc. But I'll try as always to get to as many as possible.

I did not see this one coming i never gave The United Counties League a thought at all i thought it was Alliance all the way.
Bit of a shock really not really sure what the standard is like i know all the teams but Kings Lynn did alright in it and had some good attendances why not us i think if you are doing well and playing good football people will come no matter what league you are in.
Well what will be will be.

United Counties League Empty UCL

The club probably isn't thrilled with the UCL as I think it will add to travelling expenses but from the supporters point of view it is a bit more pleasant than trips up and down the A/M42 with some decent places to visit and maybe some overnight stops.Just want the season to start now!!!

From my perspective.....it's not what I or anyone else expected?! FACT
Does it make a difference to my preparations or targets YES
Does it have any bearing on my desire or passion NO
I and my staff are in this for the long haul, the division we have been placed in is the correct level for our football club at this time but in time we will be stronger...FACT
Dissapointment creates desire...desire demands passion...passion wins titles

Pete Bull put a good comment in this weeks Shepshed Echo which I feel everyone connected with the club should drive towards "It feels like a new beginning and it's a chance to get going again with new people coming on the board"

I remember the Promotion season from the MFA as when we moved to what is step 4 although it's disappointing to drop down a level the vibe and enthusiasm within the community of the club I have spoken to is a new breath of fresh air we need to carry this through on at every level of the club as I feel this the start of positive future.

I 'll vote for Chalky!!(With Jim as assistant mayor)
Get your money on at 12-1 now.
Not sure if they will take each way bets though.

The 12-1 is for us winning the UCL not Chalky for mayor.
Apparently with some company called EASY ODDS.
They can only be Mayor if joint role with SDFC.
