FA Cup and F.A Vase draws
As I anticipated last night the draw for the F.A Cup and F.A Vase were made today and are as follows;
Saturday 11th August at Home to newly Northern Counties Prem league side Heanor Town the winners will then progress to play on
Saturday 25th August away to either our friends from Spalding who are in the UCL with us this season and seem to have an open book to sign players or East Midland Counties side Blaby and Whetstone winners of this game progress to the 1st Qual Round
Saturday 9th September to recently relegated from Blue Square North to Evo Stik Prem and ex Shepshed manager John Ramshaw's Eastwood Town who we already have a pre season friendly arranged.
In the F.A Vase due to being relegated from step 4 to step 5 we are automatically exempt to the 1st round proper to be played;
Saturday 13th October at home to either Central Midlands Prem side Blidworth MW, East Midland Counties Ibstock Utd or Stapenhill.
Tough draws in the FA Cup but for those of us who remember the last time we reached the 1st round of the FA Cup we started at the same stage and at the equivalent level so maybe it could be Carlisle here we come again :idea:

The "Other" member of the Stoke-on-Trent branch of the supporters club would love that no doubt.
