Shorts for charity
For those people who are not aware a group of Shepshed fans are going to wear shorts to all football matches they attend this year and are hoping to raise some cash for Help the Heroes in the process.
Steve Wyles, Matt Wyles, Nick Blackburn, Gary Andrews, John Morley, and Robson Wyles will all be in shorts all season long.
They are looking for sponsors to pledge a small amount of money if they can complete the task by the last game of the season.
Please pledge on this link or via the BWA Facebook page for Help the Heroes as any amount will be going to this great cause
Thank you for your support

Re: Shorts for charity
First of all thanks to Chalky for having a word with Darren; I was talking with Chalky before the Boston game about a couple of ideas I've got to expand on the Shorts for Heroes campaign, so having a bit of publicity (and dare I say a little bit of help) from Darren & 5live is great news. I would like to suggest that before we have a Spokesperson go on 606, that we get together to discuss the way forward, so that our ideas can clearly be put across on the radio. Perhaps we could agree to a date tomorrow night at Long Buckby?

Re: Shorts for charity
Just to let you all know that I've received official approval from Help for Heroes for "Shorts for Heroes" and that we also have a dedicated webpage where people can donate. I will explain more tomorrow evening.
