Shepshed Dynamo v Blidworth Welfare FA Vase Preview

Shepshed Dynamo begin their first FA Vase road to Wembley in over 15 years and like 15 years ago we come up against lower league opposition so we should look out for the warning signs that day in hostory we came up against then Leicestershire Senior League side Anstey Nomads and exited the competition disappointingly on the back of a 4-1 defeat.

Today we take on Blidworth Welfare from the Central Midlands Football League South Division.

Welfare currenlty lie 16th out of 17 having played 11 won 1 drew 1 lost 9 scoring 12 conceding 40 with 4 points.

Under new FA rules apparently in the Vase you can stipulate how a tie can be resolved so today's format is at the event of a level score at full time it would be followed by extra time and penalties. Lets hope it doesn't go that far and we look forward to our name being pulled out of the hat in Monday's draw making it 5 straight wins and move onto Harborough Tuesday night and a little side line of the quiz this evening.
