For the 2nd time of visiting Sleaford it looked like a mishap would cause a nother possible postponement with this time the referree having problems and in the end an 8pm K-O with the senior linesman in charge.

Once again the officials in this league especially the man in charge and the assistant who was officiating against Shepshed's forward line were sub standard but for all the aggrievance we may have against those in charge we can also take a look at ourselves this evening for the numerous times were caught offside trying to deliver a killer ball which could have been played earlier and the numerous opportunities we had to kill the game off if we are allowed to have chances against front runners Spalding on Saturday then to stand a chance of coming away with anything we have to put these away.

resumption of play 9.50pm Smith takes Low's goal kick neat inter change in midfield Davies through but Hewitt in goal reacts well wtih a tidy right footed pass down the left hand side Sleaford on the counter attack through ball to Tunstall Low still not recovered from his injury unable to react and Tunstall fires passed Low.

Shepshed tried to press for an equaliser but the ball ran out of play for a goal kick a midfield stalemate proceeded and the ref called a halt to proceedings
