Irchester farce

Well that was entertaining. :(
How can Irchester not call off the game before we had travelled the 70 miles to get there. It rained all night and on the way down but the ref was not called to inspect the pitch before we arrived at 2pm.
Irchester gave us £95 back to share out between the people who had already paid admission to the ground. I have asked around and the majority of people have said to donate the money to the shorts for heroes fund. If anyone would like their £5 back then let me know and I will let you have it the next time I see you.
I will donate the money on Wednesday if everyone is ok with that :)
