What a great Easter Monday Empty What a great Easter Monday

Shepshed Dynamo's first community match day was a great success a bumper crowd of 369 and we sent Q***n back down the A6 with what we wanted them to go with Absolutely nothing  One thing you can say the band at night were ertainly entertaining

A break from the number timeline report due to my phone which I keep time with giving up part way through hopefully normal service will resume on Saturday

Shepshed started well and Chappo was unlucky earlier when he was bundled over in the corner by Q***n's Number two Davies was then a threat only for Macca's header to be deflected wide. Shepshed continued to press but Q***N looked more accomplished and most likelier to score although Tuck headed over on 22nd. Q***n'a quest for a goal went close when 3 fired wide and on the half hour mark Liam Turner shot straight at Ryan Thacker and the ever advancing to then shot at Thacker.

Shepshed then blocked a Q***n but with half time looming Davies shot at Q***n's keeper likewise Smith and at the death Chappo fired wide.

Half Time Shepshed Dynamo 0 Q***n 0

Shepshed came out in the second half stronger Davies had a shot saved folllowed by a Gray through ball to Flint only for Simpson to come out and save. Simpson then came out to clear from Chappo and Davies shot over the top.

Q***n then forced a corner which was cleared by Gray returning shot from 9 into Thacker. Tuck then had a shot saved and Q***n number 7 shot was deflected wide.

Shepshed changed their system with Mulonga on for Flint. The next chance fell for Liam Turner but was saved by Thacker and then Simpson fumbled Davies's shot.

The breakthrough came on the 71st minute with Sam Wood shooting passed Simpson to one of the loudest cheers heard at The Dovecote all season.

Shepshed pressed for a second both Wood and Chappo having efforts blocked and Turner blocking Grays effort from a corner

Quorn pushed for the equaliser and Shepshed fans hearts were in their mouths as we went into stoppage time with Turner's shot deflected onto the post and out from Aietan.

The final whistle went and the celebrations started.
