Danny Rose Memorial Match

With Shepshed involved in action on Bank Holiday Saturday and Monday it would also be great to see as many of you as possible at The Dovecote Stadium on the Bank Holiday Sunday as well.

On Sunday 25th August The Dovecote Stadium will host The Danny Rose Memorial Match gates open at 11.30am and Kick Off is 1pm.

The game is to celebrate the life of Danny Rose who passed away earlier in the year and will be compete between a Danny XI made up of his family and friends and a Leicester Legends hich will include Carl Muggleton, Matt Elliott, Matt Piper, Jon Stevenson, Muzzy Izzett, Steve Walsh, Julian Joachim and many others all profits raised will go to Loros and wishes for kids.

Also on the day theree will a BBQ, Bouncy Catle, Face Painter Raffle, Disco until close and a penalty shoot out.

Danny was a devoted family man but his other passion in life was football and in Particular Liverpool F.C and I have been told Danny's XI ill be wearing Liverpool shirts. It would be great if the people of Shepshed will turn out for this event in honour of a man who played for a majority of the Local Shepshed Saturday and Sunday football sides, to raise money for two worthy causes and in honour of Danny Rose.
