Barwell v Shepshed Dynamo Preview

Tonight Shepshed Dynamo travel to Kirby Road home of Barwell F.C for the 1st Round of The Westerby Challenge Cup 1st Round K-O 730pm.

For those travelling please note the M69 is closed for roadworks where it meets Junction 21 of the M1 so an alternative route is advisable.

After the news Hinckley had withdrawn from the Westerby it meant we now have the toughest draw in this year elite County competition as Barwell are currently two tiers above us in the Evo Stik Northern Premier Premier Division.

The Canaries are currently 15th in the table having played 22 won 7 drew 6 and lost 9 scoring 30 and conceding 35 on 27 points. There recent results are;

Stamford won 2-0 Away
Whitby 1-1 home
Coalville won 5-0 Home League Cup
Marine 1-1 Away
Trafford 0-0 Home

They are managed by former Shepshed manager Jimmy Ginelly and have former players Danny Gaunt and Luke Barlone within their squad.
