Shepshed Dynamo v Boldmer St Michaels Preview Empty Shepshed Dynamo v Boldmer St Michaels Preview

Post  Gibbo Sat Aug 09, 2014 8:38 pm

Boldmere St Michaels aew the visitors to The Dovecote Stadium today K-O 3pm and the clubhouse is open at 12pm.

Performance wise we have put in two positive displays but we remain goal less and pointless so lets hope we can change that today and turn the chances we are creating into goals this afternoon.

The Mikes have certainly found goals intheir opening games currentl top of the MFL unbeaten and scored no fewer than 13 goals a majority of them in the first half 9-1 opening day away at Rocester 7-1 up t half time and in modweek 4-3 at home to Alvechurch 4-1 up at the break. Which speaks for themselves they have four of the early top goalscorers Kieran Clarke who is the leading MFL Goalscorer Kieran Clarke and on two goals transferring from Alvechurch last season Charisma Agbonlahor, Willliam Perkins and Kirk Smith.

Today we will be again for definitely missing our two new signings David Hind and Scott Staniland, Louis Guest through injury and possibly Adam Vasey.

The two sides met last season and both teams won away from home 2-1. Shepshed's visit to The Mikes was one of the few games they had lost at home all season.

Hope to see you all at The Butthole later and lets see plenty of goals in the right net obviously and three points for the Black and Whites.

Elsewhere in the MFL;

Alvechurch make their season home debut with a win and a defeat on their travels against Walsall Wood who have won and lost one.

Brocton are at home after two draws they take on Coleshill who have won ine and drew with all their goals coming from former Shepshed strikers Shane Benjamin X2 and Jonathan Jones

Both Dunkirk and Continetal Star have won one lost on most recently the one remaining result from midweek Continental Star beating Rocester 5-2 they meet at Dunkirk today.

Heat Hayes with a draw and a loss take on unbeaten Basford United they ahve injury worries to former Shepshed player Dan Fletcher and Lee Hendrie I'm sure if the blogger from midweek has picked this up it'll be definitely better but I'm sure with his love of the man he'll be able to heel him before kick off.

Long Eaton with a draw and win take on AFC Wulfrunians who have an identical record.

Loughborough Uni with a draw and a loss take on Lye who have a win and a loss Uni Coach Stuart Mclaren takes charge of his 200th game today.

Two team like ourselves with contrasting on paper stats Kirby Muxloe yet to register a point take on Stourport Swifts who are unbeaten.

Both the team from Sutton Park and Coventry Sphinx have won and drawn one they meet at Sutton Park this afternoon.

Rocester have lost both openers and have conceded 14 goals after their last defeat against Continental Star Weds Dave Shaw became the first managerial casualty of the MFL season being relieved of hi duties assistant manager Ant Jones takes charge against tipton who have won one and drew one.

Finally Westfields with a win and a draw take on Causeway United yet to register a point.
