A gutsy and deserved three points in the end yesterday after failing to show any inspiration in the first half Shpeshed turned it round in the second half and against a strong Stourport side although leaving it late deserved the three points.

2nd min Ball over the top header flicked onto beat Maccormick, Thacker caught out Maund lobs over him.

Alvechurch although their new manager wasn't in attendance beat Rocester 4-0 with goals from Deards, Edwards and 2 off the bench on hos debut Markall att 67

Basford have opened a 5 point gap and remain with a 100% record beatin second a the time Boldmere at The Mikes 6-1 Lee Hendrie opening the scoring, Kieron Clarke levelled the scores from the spot but further goals two from Stuart Hendie and one from Nightingale, Webster and Wiggins - Thomas makes you wonder whether it could be a season finish as high as possible like with Tividale last season att 81

Although Coleshill lost 2-0 at home to Lye Town they moved into 2nd place on goal difference due to the above result. Goals form Pugh and Russell gave the visitors the points a good result after the host had bagged 10 in the cup the week before att 65

16 more people at Westfields saw them gain the highest attendance of the day and their good start to the season continued as they beat Brocton 2-1 hoals from Cuss and Jones the ever scoring Fife notching for Bocton att 148
