Shepshed Dynamo 0 Kirby Muxloe 3

Another national competition season over before the nights have drawn in and maybe we will be looking towards to 2014/2015 already because on current form mid table is an ambition that may not happen and expectations and ambitions are running thin. Next season will be the final year of the 3 year plan.

I thought we were disjointed last week but not only were we disjointed today we allowed a side  who have only won  one game after visiting the Dovecote take control of the game and over run us. In a way it's unacceptable. I understand the restaraints and sensible ethos of the club but this has now happened twice in National competitions against sides and maybe I believe in the club but lost twice against inferior opposition. Kirby Muxloe have had their biggest pay day of their lives today and on at least a quarter of the budget some of our players are receiving. If that's not a wake up call then a revamp has to be looked at.

Pretty damning stuff. Was it as bad as it sounds?

Yes it was as bad as it sounds !

Disjointed as Gibbo states. Too many players hiding. No natural leader on the pitch eventually led to players doing their own thing and not following the game plan.......if there ever was one.

I know we were down to 10 men but how come in the 2nd half, when Kirby Muxlowe were attacking, did they have 5 players attacking constantly wanting to support each other and tackle back whenever they lost the ball. They wanted it much more than we did and their fitness and speed were far superior to ours.

The management's frustration was obvious to hear but the players failed to respond. Time to take a hard look at some of these guys and question their commitment as it detracts from the effort put in by a handful of players who still have pride in wearing the club shirt and worked their socks off.

It was a very poor performance.There seems to be a general lack of confidence in their ability to pass the ball and this is resulting in just knocking it long.
Personally I think that Chalky and his team will get it right sooner rather than later,maybe if Chris Gray and Chappo are out for a while along with Atters suspended we might need an injection of a new face or two.
Not sure if Alan got Craig's sending off on the video,on the day it just looked like two guys going in for a block tackle.If this shows on his video can we appeal?
