Shepshed Dynamo host Rocester at The Dovecote Stadium tomorrow K-O 3pm in the Midland Football Alliance.

In the clubhoue prior to the game i the Monthly Supporters Club Bingo approx draw 2.15pm and speak to Sheila Andrews prior to the draw if you wish to join in cost is £10 and the average prize fund was £80 last season.

The two teams met in the MFA last season at Rocester after being reduced to nine men Ricester held into a 0-0 draw and 3-2 at The Dovecote Stadium. Atthe end of the season they were given a reprieve from relegation as Highgate failed the ground grading requirements. ALthough we are bottom The Romans aren't fairing too well this season at the moment they are averaging conceding nearly five goals a game.

They have Played 11 winning2 drawing 1 losing 8 on 7 points scoring 11 conceding 48 currently two places and three points above us in 22nd place.

They have announced a new manager in Mark Wilson this week he has left his post at East Midland Counties League top of the table side South Normanton who he had gained promotion from the Central Midlands League he was formerly manager of Borrowash Vucs who head won 2 League Cups and three league runners up places also a last 32 placein the FA Vase he brings with him as assistant former Rocester player Karl Payne.

Their recent results all in the league;

Continental Star Home lost 5-1
Basford Home won 3-2
Westfields Away lost 7-0
Boldmere lAway lost 6-1
Lye Home lost 3-0

Shepshed should be looking at this game as the restart of their season and there is a possibility of one if not two new faces from the friendly in midweek appearing tomorrow afternoon. Due to work commitments I hope to see you all up the Butthole at some point and then for a great day for Charity and the club on Sunday which I will look at in more depth on the next post after we have looked around the comings and goings in the MFL.

14th placed AFC Wulfrunians will look to continue their winning ways after their 4-1 win over the Uni last week they take on 8th placed Kirby Muxloe who certainly won't get it their own way this week after their 8-0 win against Tipton last weekend.

Basford albeit with a game in hand relinquished the top spot to Long Eaton in midweek but will be looking to continue thier winning form after their 2-0 win over Stourport. One thing for sure they won't be winning the fair play award any time soon. They welcome Dan Fletcher back from suspension tomorrow they still have Wiggins - Thomas suspended for two more and Ryan Whitehurst for one. United are also awaiting an appeal for Lee Hendries sending off from the touchline in their FA Cup game against Sheffield. One new recruit they have brought in over the past few weeks is Blair Anderson a midfielder from Long Eaton. They take on 10th placed Coventryy Sphinx who'll be loooking to a return in form after a 2-2 draw with Heath Hayes Saturday they were beaten 7-0 by Redditch in the Birmingham Senior Cup on Monday. Incoming on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers is goalkeeper Scott Duts.

16th placed rocton havelost thir last two and conceded 4 in both games they have brought in loanees midfielder Tom Vaughan and striker Jake Edwards who scored on his debut from Stafford Rangers they take on 13th placed Stourport who'll belooking to bounce back from their defeat against Basford.

21t placed Heath Hates under their new manager Simon Davis and his assistants Ben Maddox and Ricky Hewitt will be looking for further points after their draw wih Coventry Sphinx last week. They take on 18th placed Dunkirk who had their management team resign in midweek and were also defeated 3-1 by Long Eaton after taking the lead. The Boatmen wasted no time in replacing management they announced former Tipton manager Nick Hawkins and his assistant Nathan Lamey at thehelm today before the ink had dried they ad already signed former Gresley and Ilson forward Ash Robinsn, Ryan Haste from Carlton and former Shepshed midfielder Aiden Brady.

Top of the Table Long Eaton United after their 3-1 win against Dunkirk in midweek take on 7th placed Alvechurch who beat Brocton 4-1 last weekend

Loughborough Uni after their 2-1 defeat to Boldmere in 17th place are at home again as they take on 9th placed Causeway who have won their two games last week against ourselves and 4-3 against Brocton Tuesday.

After their 5-4 victory against Shepshed, Lye have now rose to 6th in the able and after their 3-0 win against our opponents tomorrow they take on 5th placed Boldmere who beat the Uni 2-1 in the wek.

Games don't get easier for depleted Tipton after defeats 8-0 against Kirby and 10 against Sphinx they take on 4th placed the team from Sutton Park who beat Continental Star 4-1. They have brought in on loan defender Jack Oldahm from Ilson but have had two depart centre forward Jamie Clarke has joined UCL side Holbeach Utd and we may see Jamie Allen in action against us next week in the FA Vase has heas joined Barrow for more regular 1st team action.

12th placed Walsall Wood will be looking for vixtory again after their 4-2 win against Dunkirk they take on 11th placed Coleshill who drew with Westfields with an abundance of strikers at the club they have brought in 6 foot two striker Conal Powel from Alvechurch and one of the most prolific strikers of the MFA last season Matt Brown from Highgate.

3rd placed Wesfields afer their draw with Walsall Wood take on Continental Star.

One other game of interest our conquerors Sheffield F.C travel to WarringtonTown in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the FA Cup.
