Coventry Sphinx are now 11th after their weekend home victory to Loughborough Uni 4-2 goals from Downe 2, Cutting and Baxter for Sphinx Carpenter and Poxon for the Uni. Sphinx then visited Rocester last night. The Romans opened the scoring in the 1st half and after a floodlight failure Gumery equalised for Coventry att 71. Rocester improvement under new management continues they are niw 17th after thier victory against Walsall Wood 2-0 at the weekend as well goals from Ward and Williams att 93. Loughborough UNi are currently in action at the moment and lead Tipton Town 2-0 away.
Dunkirk now 21st were beaten 3-2 at home to Westfields in 5th at the weekend. The Boatmen's goals were from Carey Bertram and new manager Nick Hawkins. The Fields goals were scored by Palmer, Boyle and Lewars att 52. Westfield have continued to strengthen their squad today with the signing of Midfielder Kevin Davies from Monmouth Town.
Kirby Muxloe are now 8th after 2-1 victory over 13th Causeway United att 35
Lye Town caused one of the upsets of the weekend coming from behind twice to beat league leaders Basford. Lye have gone from strength to strength sonce their 5-4 victory against ourselves and are now 7th with goals from Anslow, Mills and Whitcombe United's goals were scored by Anderson and White att 155. United went back top in front of 125 with thier 4-1 win against ourselves which leaves us 20th.
The boys from Sutton Pak dropped to 5th and keep losing the same week as Basford Brocton moved to 14th with their 3-2 win at Sutton Park goals from Ablewhite and 2 from bell. Liam Read with the home teams goals att 184
Tipton couldn't stop Long Eaton's run and remain 22nd and will visit The Dovecote Stadium in this position if the score remains the same tonight. Long Eaton beat them 4-1 with goals from Fell x1, Wells and King, Duffield scoring for Town att 62 Long Eaton are now 2nd in the table.
