A look round the MFL This weekend
With our gamecalled off due to the weather many of the MFL sides either started or completed their pre season warm up this weekend here's a look at the weekend action.
AFC Wulfrunians beat Halesowen Town 3- at The Castlecroft Stadium our first BWA on Tour of the season.
Alvechurch's game was abandoned 2-1 down at Bolehall Swifts but they have announced the signing of experienced striker Jermain Clarke formerly of Newport County, Redditch United, Rushall Olympic, Solihull Moors and Bromsgrove Rovers.
Boldmere St Michaels lost 3-0 to Stourbridge.
Coleshill Town were 1-0 up against St Andrews before their game was abandoned yet to conceed a goal.
Coventry Sphinx beat Sutton United 2-0
Heath Hayes a made a draw 1-1 with Stafford Town
Kirby Muxle drew 2-2 with Blaby and Whetstone
Long Eaton United lost 3-0 to Ilkeston and were reduced to 10 men in the first half
The Sutton Park side beat Chasetown 2-1 with goals from Dodd and Read.
Rocester lost 4-3 to a Port Vale XI
Tipton Town beat Solihull Moors Reserves 2-0
Walsall Wood beat Rushall Olympic 3-2
FA Vase opponents Barrow Town were 3-1 down to Desford before their game was abandoned.
In the week we'll have a look at our next opponents Holbrook Sports and Cogenhoe United.
