MFL Results from the Weekend
There were a few surprises at the top of the MFL on Saturday here's the results from the weekend;
AFC Wulfrunians beat in form Coleshill Town to go 14th with goals from Gregg and King, Lloyd scoring for Town leaving them fifth att 116
Alvechurch are 7th after putting four passed Dunkirk. Deards, Evans and 2 from Nicol for The Church. Manager Hawkins for The Boatman att 71
Continental Star upset league leaders Basford winning 4-2 awat Greenwich Avenue 4-2 goals from Elwell, Ibrahim Johnson and Wilson for Star making them a place above ourselves with a midweek home game at home tomorrow to The Biys from Sutton Park before our visit Saturday Coxon and Wiggins - Thomas for United seeing them drop to 2nd place att 55.
Boldmere went 3rd with a 1-0 victory couresy of Holmes against the Boys fro Sutton Park seeing them slip to 8th att 93
Brocton beat Causeway at home with goals from Fife and Lomas seeing them 13th Causeway are now 15th with a goal from March att 81
Heath Hayes dropped below ourselves after losing 5-0 at home to Lye who are now 6th. Goals scored by Danks x3, Jones, Whitcombe att 66
Long Eaton still remain unbeaten and go top of the table with a 2-1 win against Stourport who are now 10th. United's goals by Fell abd Wells Griffin for Swifts att 88
Loughborough Uni lost to the ever improving Rocester who are now 7th their four goals came from Williams x2, Brown and Ward in their 4-2 victory putting the Uni 16th att 52.
Walsall Wood are 11th one place above their opponents Coventry Sphinx who they beat 2-1 goals from Black and Cooper. Downes with the consolation for Sphinx att 82
Westfields move up to 4th with a 3-0 home win against Kirby Muxloe as they slip to 9th att 139
