Well it's took me tonight to divulge the weekend result and I don't think it has sunk in that we were actually four up and lost 5-4.

One of the strangest games I have witnessed the only similar game I can remember is coming back from 4-2 down in the FA Cup against Stourbridge and winning. A result that leaves us third bottom maybe the distraction of the FA Cup this weekend may rehuvenate our spirit.

Boldmere 4 Brocton 1 goals from Clarke, Roland, Gould and Osborne in front of the highest attendance in the MFL saw The Mikes beat Brocton their goal was from Bell leaving them and Heath Hayes who were in Vase action on 3 points one clear of ourselves. Boldmeres win sees four teams now all joint 2nd on 13pts att 187.
Dunkirk 1 Causeway United 2 Goals from Morgan - Parker and Gardner saw United beat the Boatmen their goal was from Carty att 68
The team from Sutton Park returned to winning ways beating Westfields 3-2 goals from Brennan, Read and Wright The Fields goals from Cuss and Drag att 124
Rocester 3 Basford Utd 2 Probably the shock undefeated Basford travelled to Rocester and goals from Brown, Bullock and Corden gave the Romans all three points, Basford's goals from Stuart Hendrie and Wiggins - Thomas att 101

AFC Wulfrinians beat Black Country Rangers 3-1 goals from Skedgel, Thompson and King att 124
In a seven goal game Coventry Sphinx Beat Bewdley 4-3 away with goals from Bishop, Cutting, Dainty and Jackson att 69
Continental Star beat Heath Hayes in the all MFL tie2 from Elweel and one from O'Garro Wapl with the two consolation goals for Hayes att 44
Cleethorpes continued their impressive cup season after beating gresley in midweek in the FA cup they beat Loughborough Uni 5-2 att 79
Kirby Muxloe progressed with a 1-0 win against Stafford Town att 32
Alvechurch went out after extra time away at Lichfield City 4-2 goals from Cresswell and Hughes were not enough att 111
Long Eaton Utd continued into the next round with a 3-0 home win against Arnold att 119
Walsall Wood beat Malvern Town 3-2 away with goals from Evans, Forret and Holgate att 137
Stourport and Bromsgrove Sporting do it again tonight after a 2-2 draw goals from Pountney and Dinsley att 155
