Double dose of Action at The Dovecote Midweek
Glad I was writing the title not speaking it!
Shepshed Dynamo Reserves were without a game on Saturday but this Tuesday they will be seeking revenge against Friar Lane and Epworth in The Beacon Bitter Cup First Round K-O 730pm.
Then on Wednesday the first team are in friendly action taking on what should be a strong Mansfield Town XI made up of the reserves and Under 21's from thei League Division 2 set up K-O 745pm.

Beacon Bitter Cup's not exactly easy to say either, especially after a couple of pints of it.

Re: Double dose of Action at The Dovecote Midweek
There were goals galore in the midweek action at The Dovecote this midweek. First up were the reserves who put in a very good performance against Friar Lane and Epworth who they had already lost to in league action. After leading 4-1 at the break the Reserves progressed to the 2nd Round of the Beacon Bitter Cup and their next game if you can't make the trip with the first team to Stourport they are at home in League action to Melton who they defeated in the previous round of the Beacon Bitter Cup.
Then on Wednesday night the first team also including a couple of the reserves from Tuesday night took on an experienced Mansfield Town XI with 7 players with first team experience, 3 youth players and a goalkeeper recently signed from Getafe. They more than held their own at times and the it was a worthwhile run out the eventual score was 7-2 to the Stags.
