Next Charity Event at The Dovecote

Saturday 7th July 2012 from 12pm at The Dovecote sees the 2nd game for the Maria Morley Cup. This year the organising committe and the teams ar raising money for 2 charities Rainbows Children's Hospice and Afghan Heroes.

The game will be played between teams consisting of;

Derby County (ex players and celebs) + personnel from Rolls Royce (Derby) and
Leicester City (ex players and celebs) + personnel from Shepshed

The organising committee are currently hopeful that Phil Gee, Craig Ramage, Russell Hoult and Roger Davies will be building the Derby County team and Steve Walsh (tbc) will be building the Leicester City side.

The organisers are discussing availability of other players and are also looking for additional celebs if anyone knows of any player or celeb ho can give up their time.

On the day at The Dovecote there will be various events going on around the ground and at half time. The bar and food will be available throughout the day.

They are also be a match programme, raffle and auction lots and if anyone is in a position themselves or knows of local businesses or frineds that may wish to advertise in the programme (£20,£35,£50 advertising slots are available) or donate a raffle prize or auction lot then contact Jay laver via private message on facebook or e-mail aaronlaverntlworld.com.

Gates open at 12pm K-O is 1.30pm followed by the medal and trophy presentations and cheque to Rainbows reps then an auction raffle and disco to conclude the day.

Admission is £3 for adults and £1 for children. Advanced tickets can be booked and programmes will be available prior to the game in local shops approx 3 weeks prior to the game priced at £2.
