Shepshed Dynamo v Heanor Town Preview
So we start again with a new season ahead of us, as we enter the unknown we have built a squad which have showed some inconsistent but as a majority promising friendly session.
Tomorrow we welcome Heanor Town who play in the same level as ourselves in the North East Counties League Premier Division after gaining promotion last season.
I have looked through my past programmes but the last competitive game against Heanor was in the early 80's under Shepshed Charterhouse.
Heanor have already played 2 league games and have lost both encounters but we are all aware especially with ourselves not playing a competitive game and being the F.A Cup any form goes out the window.
For the record Heanor have lost away to Retford last Satirday 3-0 and Arnold Town at home 2-1 in a side which included Steve Chaplin last seasons supporters player of the year and Ricky Law's brother Tony.
Tomorrow's game is a guaranteed £1000 to the winners and we all know we have a couple of players unavailable but I feel we can put a strong contest against Heanor tomorrow.
One player we'll all recognise in the Heanor side is Carl Slater.
So make sure we are all in the A block as anticipation grows it seems like a decent attendance tomorrow and with the happy hour from 1pm lets start the BWA reputation in the clubhouse looking forward to seeing everyone at the Dovecote Stadium.
