Tomorrow is the 2nd Shepshed Show organised by a dedicated group of volunteers to enhance the profile of Shepshed last year with great success and good value entertainment. The gates open at Shepshed High School tomorrow at 11am and the fun packed day continues right up to 5pm. Included this year is an eight a side football tournament which includes all of the local Saturday and Sunday local teams and a side from ourselves the schedule for the fun football which we haven't seen for the last week in Brazil is;

Game A Ingles FC V Shepshed Amateurs 1st K-O 11am
Game B Ingles Vets v Shepshed Dynamo K-O 11.50am
Game C Belton Villa v Shepshed Utd K-O 12.40pm
Game D Shepshed Amateurs 2nd v Pied Bull K-O 13.30pm

Semi Finals

Winners of Game A v Winners Game B K-O 14.20pm
Winners of Game C v Winners Game D K-O 15.10pm

Final K-O 4-pm

Come and enjoy the football played for fun and will probably more enjoyable than the 180 minutes seen over the last week but also embrace the whole event as Shephsed join together as a community tomorrow.

Shepshed Show Empty Re: Shepshed Show

It was hopefully the first trophy of the season and an idea the Loughborough Charity (We've being saying this for years a weekend comp pre season) and possibly a new idea of a Shepshed Charity Trophy as little return has been made for the average attendance money Shepshed fans have put into local tournaments over the years but an enjoyable but hot day out sorry for the late results I'm not used to the heat and still peeling now bring on the winter and proper football.

Round 1

Shepshed Ingles beat Shepshed Amateurs 3-2 (Might have been 3-1)
Shepshed Dynamo beat Ingles Vets 3-0
Shepshed United beat Belton Villa 2-0 ( I Think)
Pied Bull beat Shepshed Amateurs 2nds (Again I think 3-1)

Semi Finals

Shepshed Ingles 0 Shepshed Dynamo 1
Shepshed United 2 Pied Bull 1

Final

Shepshed Dynamo 2 Shepshed Utd 0

The end result wasn;t the objective as it showed that Shepshed teams can work together for an enjoyable day and congratulations to the volunteers who officiated and organised the competition a great afternoon of football without the stress.
