Shepshed Dynamo take on United Counties League Cogenhoe nited at The Dovecote Stadium today K-O 3pm.

The two sides play at the same level and met in the UCL in the 2012/13 season at the Cooks ground Shepshed lost 2-1 with a goal from Ryan Perkins and then a 1-1 draw at home with a goal from Sam Wood. Cogenhoe finished one place above Shepshed in 8th that season and bettered this last season with a fifth place finish.

Cogenhoe have so far in pre season been beaten 8-1 by Histon beat Woodford United and Ampthill Town 2-0 and 5-0 respectively. Then in midweek they made a goalless draw with a Northampton Town XI.

Elsewhere around the MFL this week;

AFC Wulfrunians played two games in midweek drawing 2-2 with Bilston Town Tuesday and then beating Litchfield City 3-0 Thursday. Today they take on AFC Rushden & Diamonds.

Alvechurch beat Cradley Town 4-2 and announced 2 new payers and two leaving. Joe Noakes has stepped up from the youth system and Conal Powell has signed from Heather, leaving is Charisma Agbonlahor expected to sign for Boldmere and AFC Wulfrunians have put 7 days in for Mark Bandurak. Today they take on Sutton Coldfield Town.

Basford United beat Underwood Villa 3-0 and take on Mickleover Sports today. They announced also in midweek Nottingham Forest Ladies will play their games their this season.

Boldmere St Michaels were beaten 5-2 by Bolehall Swifts and take on Paget Rangers today.

Brocton beat Wolverhampton Casuals 3-0 and take on Stapenhill today.

Continental Star were beaten 5-2 by Rushall Olympic and take on Wolverhampton Sporting today.

Coleshill Town beat Lichfield City 5-3 in midweek with a goal a piece from former Shepshed forwards Jonathn Jones and Shane Benjamin. They announced keeper Tom Turner has left for promoted Tividale and take on Thurnby Nirvana today.

Coventry Sphinx beat Barwell 6-0 in midweek and have a memorial day for former player Paul Pongo John today.

Dunkirk made a 3-3 draw with heanor in midweek and last night were beaten 4-2 by Gresley FC.

Heath Hayes were beaten 6-1 by Rushall Olympic and take on Uttoxeter Town today.

Loughborough Uni announced one new signing but four departures. Incoming former England Under16/17 Liam Darville who came through Leeds United's academy, has played for Tranmere Rovers, York City, Harrogate Town and Richmond Town. Leaving the Uni this uear are Dan Nti, George Nash, Seb Barker and Charlie Turnbull.

Long Eaton United beat Real United 8-1 in midweek and take on Dronfield Town today.

Lye were beaten 4-2 by Bromsgrove Sporting

The team from Sutton Park were beaten 5-3 by Thurnby Nirvana in midweek and are in the Joe Mcgorian Trophy which is competed every year between the MFA Cup and league winners they take on Tividale.

Rocester drew 2-2 with Stapenhill and take on Newhall United in the Steve Hackett Memorial Trophy in aid of the British Heart Foundation

Stourport Swifts were beaten 4-1 by Stourbridge and 4-0 by Kidderminster Harriers in midweek.

Tipton Town lost 1-0 to Black Country Rangers and take on Dudley Town today.

Walsall Wood were beaten 2-0 by Tividale.
