Visiting a higher league side Shepshed weren't disgraced and we're unfortunate in the end not to gain a replay.

The hosts opened the scoring on 36 mins but Shepshed replied a minute later making half time level.

Shepshed pressed the game and Ward in goal kept us at bay. Vasey pulled the score back with 2 mins to go after Hinds shot was saved by Ward.
