Shepshed's final pre season campaign hit the buffers against a strong Gresley midfield who took a strangle hold of the game

Gresley took the lead within 14 minutes of the game as Turville converted from the penalty spot, Shepshed reacted and Pollard fired wide 2 minutes later.

7minutes into the 2nd half Gresley extend their lead and from their onwards Tom Allen was forced into further saves. and subsequently Shepshed conceded a 3rd and 4th goal. Late on Shepshed were denied a consolation goal by poor refereeing as Leighton Simmonds beat the advancing Gresley keeper who dived quicker than Tom Daley in the pool but would have probably have gained a medal.

Onto the final friendly Tuesday against Oadby away and then Heanor in the F.A Cup Saturday.
