Gresley F.C Today

Today the first team visit The Moat Ground home of Evo Stik Division 1 South side Gresley F.C K-O 3pm and the reserves afre also on their travels as they take on Thringstone.

The last time we played Gresley F.C is in what has become an annual pre season friendlies alternating venues each year last year after Gresley ran out 4-0 winners at The Dovecote Stadium lets hope for better things today and if we produce the form we have shown in the previous 3 games we are looking at an entertaiing game and also lets hope this is the last year we arrange this as a friendly and be aking them on in competitive action next seeason. The last time we visited the Moat Ground in leeague action was 7/3/09 and a solo goal from Rob Norris made sure the BWA returned to Shepshed happy.

Gresley have had two games so far a 3-1 defeat against Anstey Nomads and like ourselves progressed in the Coalville Charity Cup in midweek with a 5-1 victory against Ellistown and Istock United.

So onto the most important part of the day for the travelling BWA the Gresley bar is positioned in the corner of the ground and the snack bar is situated in the main stand.

Remember for those travelling with the BWA The Dynamo Bar opens at Noon and we depart for Church Gresley at 1pm last count yesterday there was 3 places remaining so if you kno anyone who fancies it bring them along cost is £10 and we will be returning from Church Gresley at 6pm for the rest who are making their on way we will see you at Church Gresley for what on paper makes for an interesting friendly encounter.
