The 3rd DWTrophy will take place with a 2pm Kick off at the Dpvecote Stadium with a game between a Shepshed Dynamo XI and an AllstarXI

Re: DW Trophy 2014
Leicester City legend's Steve Walsh & Muzzy Izzet will join last year's All Star XI squad in a bid to retain the DW Trophy. The squad, managed by ex-city forward Alan Young will feature basketball star Russell Levenston amongst others who have given up their time to play in the annual game in aid of British Heart Foundation & East Midlands Ambulance Service.
Expecting to make their debuts on Sunday August 3rd will be Radio Leicester’s Ian Stringer and Hermitage FM’s Giovanni Sepede. They will be joined by last year’s goal hero Rendell Munroe. Barry Lamble and Liam Hebberd will also feature alongside former foxes favourite Gerry Taggart who lifted the trophy twelve months ago following the 3-2 victory over the hosts.
Shepshed Dynamo’s DW Trophy squad will have an healthy blend of former players, back room staff and supporters. Former goalkeeper Mark Whitehead and centre half Duncan O’Brien will be making their first appearances in the game held in memory of the clubs former director and secretary, Dave Wheatley.
The game will once again be played at Shepshed Dynamo FC’s Dovecote Stadium and will kick off at 2pm. Admission is £3.00 with under 12’s Free.
